Ephy Torenberg hails from fast growing software companies after serving over 20 years in the Israeli Air Force so … watch out! Ephy brings to Pando Networks his ability to build an evolving organization with focused strategy and effective implementation. From 2001 to 2005, Ephy was president of MicroEdge, a division of Advent Software. He started at the company in 1998 as the chief operating officer. Ephy restructured MicroEdge to sustain high organic growth and integrate various acquisitions. As COO, Ephy provided departmental leadership and was responsible for the company's financial and overall quality objectives. In 2001, he assumed the role of president and spearheaded corporate strategies, financial performance and vision development. Under his leadership, MicroEdge acquired NPO Solutions, which served primarily the business technology needs of community foundations. As MicroEdge/NPO president, Ephy expanded the company to include 2,300 foundations and charities as clients and brought to market a first of its kind Donor Advised Fund program in partnership with Merrill Lynch and a community foundation consortium. Ephy sits on the board of Crown Philanthropic Solutions, a network of technology-based services that act as a bridge between philanthropies, financial organizations and donors. He holds a Bachelor's degree in computer science from Bar-Ilan University (Ramat-Gan, Israel) and an MBA equivalent in various studies. Ephy has five children and lives in NJ.
