If you are getting “file busy" errors when you try to delete files that you have sent to others, here’s why:
Files that you send or receive using Pando are "in use" by Pando until you remove the file from your Sent/Received lists. The reason for this is a bit complicated, but it is how we can efficiently deliver files to many recipients. Everyone who has sent or received something is (potentially) uploading it to other downloaders. But this also means that Pando is "using" files that you send or receive using Pando.
To remove the files, open Pando. In the Status window, click options, then select Storage. This will free the files up for deletion in your computer.
To delete the files you have received via Pando, click options, then select Storage. Click Clear Received List at the bottom of the window. Choose whether you want to Clear and Delete [the files from your computer] or just Clear the Received List.
If you want to clear or delete just one file in the list, open Pando’s Status window and select the file in the Received or Sent list and click the delete icon (X) or press the Delete key on your keyboard. Pando will ask if you want to remove the file from the list or to remove it from the list and delete the file. If you tell Pando to delete the file, Pando will “clean it up" for you. If you just remove it from the list, Pando will stop "using" the file, and you can move it, delete it, and so on.
